Day 1: PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL 2017 opens to the best in pack and print – all in a single staging

PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL 2017: Day 1 – 20 September

With the theme of “Packaging and Printing for the Future” – in line with the shift from a production-based to a service-based economy under the ‘Thailand 4.0’ development plan, the region’s leading exhibition for its sectors welcomed international and local trade visitors and visiting delegations from the Philippines, Myanmar, India and Thailand with a line-up that brought to life the full spectrum of the pack and print value chain.

This covered industry-leading machinery and solutions, latest technologies and innovations by 300 exhibitors from 24 countries, including national pavilions and groups from China, Germany, Taiwan, Thailand, and for the first-time Singapore, live machine demonstrations, product launches, as well as concurrent events, free-admission technical presentations and numerous networking opportunities that were made more targeted with the free business matching service.

Signing of PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL Partnership Agreement

Extending the success of PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL – the region’s packaging and printing trade fair for the industry, by the industry – The Thai Printing Association, The Thai Packaging Association and Messe Duesseldorf Asia have inked a new Partnership Agreement this morning. This will serve to fortify the continued cooperation and strong partnership among the joint organisers for the next 3 editions of the biennially-held PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL.


HP Inc. announces 6 new deals in Thailand across its Indigo and Latex range

At PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL 2017, HP Inc., announced strong adoption of its solutions alongside new innovations to transform the Thai printing industry. At its press conference this afternoon, the company shared more on the growing adoption of digital print, how HP is helping brands and customers reinvent their engagements with consumers through new and creative applications, expand their business and to do so in an environmentally conscious manner.

The company also announced 6 new deals in Thailand across its Indigo and Latex range, including the installations of the first 2 units of Indigo 20000 and 1 unit of Latex 3600 in Southeast Asia. According to Pavin Vorapruck, Managing Director, HP Inc. Thailand, he shared that “by developing innovative solutions to provide better outcomes for our customers, we give them the opportunity to turn unique and inspiring ideas into reality.”

The event extended to a tour of the HP booth, and customers received gifts including a limited-edition water bottle designed in collaboration with Thai artist Yozanun Suntur Wutigonsombutkul, and printed on HP printers.

Koenig & Bauer AG (KBA) celebrates 200th anniversary at PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL 2017

The world's first press-building workshop, established in 1817, has grown into a globally successful manufacturing group. Today, analog and digital KBA technologies are used to print, finish and process products such as banknotes, metal cans, books, brochures, displays, decor, labels, glass and plastic containers, board and film packaging, catalogs, laminates, magazines, tires, cables, smart cards, advertising flyers, newspapers and more.
